META Group (now Gartner) analyst. Co-founder of TEMIS SA (now Expert System) in 2000, in 2006 he founded Z&P.

Alexandre LazarouProject Manager
M.Sc. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Ferrara, and has achieved a 1st level Master’s in Project and Innovation Management at the University of Padova. During his university studies he focused on the environmental field and in particular to monitoring (UAVs, remote sensing). At the moment he is working for Z&P as a project manager and researcher in EU-funded projects, specifically SILVANUS and SHIELD.

Andrea PradelliPhD Student- Moderator
is a PhD Candidate in Economics and Management at the University of Trento. His research topic is the relationship between trust and innovation, investigated with experimental economics tools and according to behavioural economics theory. He holds a MSc in Economic and Social Sciences at Bocconi University. He is the co-founder of the think-tank Modena Vivaio, a group of young citizens of Modena who aim at presenting proposals to shape the future of our town. He occasionally works as an editor for the online magazines Neos and Econopoly-Il Sole 24 Ore.

Domenica CascianoProject Manager
Domenica holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering (University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome). During her studies she focused on Industrial Plant Design, nanotechnology, and tissue engineering. She worked as a Junior Research Scientist at InoCure, a Czech company in Prague. Currently she works as a Project Manager and Scientific Researcher at Zanasi & Partners company in Modena
L’emergenza climatica, causata negli ultimi 150 anni dalle attività antropiche, è diventata al giorno d’oggi una delle più grandi sfide che l’umanità deve affrontare.
Un mirato uso della tecnologia (in particolare dell’AI) può condurre ad un sostanziale contrasto delle cause (e conseguenze) del surriscaldamento globale: gli incendi boschivi e la conseguente emissione di CO2.
Zanasi & Partners sfruttando le proprie competenze in ambito tecnologico e di ricerca, ha collaborato con partner internazionali e globali alla realizzazione del progetto SILVANUS, finanziato dalla Commissione Europea per un totale di 24 mln di €.
L’obiettivo del progetto è quello di sviluppare una piattaforma integrata, tecnologica e sostenibile per far fronte ad ognuna delle tre fasi principali della gestione degli incendi boschivi: prevenzione e preparazione, rilevamento e risposta, e resilienza e adattamento. La piattaforma verrà testata in 11 siti pilota, tra cui Brasile, Australia, ed Indonesia.
